French fries for foodservice — cuts for every fryer

Frozen French fries for kebab shops, fast food outlets and delivery kitchens, from three producers. McCain — Express Straight and Express Crinkle 9/9 mm, Star Julienne 7/7 mm, SureCrisp Julienne 6/6 mm, Caterpak 9/9 mm and Crispers. Farm Frites — Fast Fry Straight 10/10 mm and Fast Fry Crinkle 12/10 mm, Crispy Coated 7/7 and 10/10 mm, Belgian 12 mm and Sweet Potato 9 mm. Lutosa — FastReady straight 10/10 mm, crinkle cut 9/12 mm, thin and straight X-TRA CRISPY, skin-on Belgian 12/12 mm and steak cut 10/18 mm.

You pick the cut for your fryer and your frying time, not for the price. Thin julienne 6/6 and 7/7 mm cooks fast and suits delivery cartons; straight 9/9 and 10/10 mm is the safest choice for the dining room; Belgian 12 mm and steak cut 10/18 mm hold heat longest. Coated French fries (Crispy Coated, X-TRA CRISPY, SureCrisp) stay crisp in a takeaway box noticeably longer — if most of your sales go out for delivery, that is the shelf. Almost everything comes in 5 × 2,5 kg or 4 × 2,5 kg cases. If you are not sure which cut to take, call us — we will suggest one for your fryer.

We quote individually — a rep prepares a quote for your place within one working day. An order placed by 16:00 goes out on your town’s next route day. The minimum order in Kraków and the surrounding area is PLN 750 net.

Questions about french fries

What is the minimum order?

In Kraków and the surrounding area the minimum order is PLN 750 net. You can mix products from different categories — they travel in one delivery, on one invoice. Outside Kraków the terms are set by your area rep, depending on the route day.

Which cut of french fries suits my fryer?

Thin julienne 6/6 and 7/7 mm fries fastest and holds up well in delivery cartons. Straight 9/9 and 10/10 mm is the safest choice for the dining room. Belgian 12 mm and steak cut 10/18 mm hold heat longest but need more time and a stronger fryer. If most of your sales are takeaway, go for coated french fries — they stay crisp in the box noticeably longer.

How many fries go into one order?

A portion is usually 150–200 g, so a 5 × 2,5 kg case gives about 60–80 portions. At 50 portions a day a case lasts about a week and a half — that is the starting point for working out how much to order per route.
